| | | Ken Hicks, president of Workplace Safety Group, has more than 40 years of experience in the field of occupational health and safety. In the 1980s, he was a member of the original task force that developed the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS), now universally recognized as Canada’s national standard of hazard communication. Earlier in his career, Ken was an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (with several endorsements), an Airframe Technician and Flight Engineer with the Canadian Armed Forces as well as an instructor at the Canadian Forces School of Ordinance Engineering. Today, health and safety education is mandated by law. As an active member of the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering, Ken will be able to answer your questions about health, safety and the law in the aircraft and aerospace industry. | | |
