CAMC announces its Board of Directors for 2005-06

OTTAWA: On behalf of the Canadian Aviation Maintenance Council (CAMC), Steve Dick, Chief Executive Officer, is pleased to announce the following appointments to its Board of Directors for 2005-06.

Gerry Mandarello, Marketing Manager with L-3 Communications, has been appointed to the newly created position on the Board as Corporate Member at Large.

Rick Rantz of Aviall Services, Inc. was representing the Canadian Federation of AME Associations (CFAMEA) on the Board. He is now representing the Ontario AME Association.

LCol Simon Sukstorf, Commandant of the Canadian Forces School of Aerospace Technology and Engineering (CFSATE) at Canadian Forces Base Borden, is the Board’s new Department of National Defence (DND) representative.

Lane Trotter, Dean of Transportation at British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT), is the new representative for the Association of Canadian Community Colleges (ACCC).

CAMC extends its thanks and appreciation to LCol Harry Kowal, who served as the previous DND representative from June 2004 to August 2005.

The Canadian Aviation Maintenance Council (CAMC) is an all stakeholder, not-for-profit organization responsible for the human resources strategy for the aviation maintenance and aerospace manufacturing industry in Canada.
