CAMC is pleased to announce the facilitation of the French language Quality Systems Auditor workshop, in partnership with CQFA.

The Canadian Aviation Maintenance Council CAMC has developed a 2-day test project workshop based on the Quality Systems Auditor Occupational Standard in reaction to requests from industry, which is concerned with SMS implementation and the requirement of QA as part of SMS. CAMC has learned through focus group meetings that companies and individual auditors are interested in attending a workshop developed to a national standard. The purpose of these workshops is to help aviation workers understand the importance of auditing and documentation in consideration of the new reality of Safety Management Systems.

This workshop is open to any aviation stakeholder however advance reservation is required. The event is sponsored by CAMC in partnership with the CQFA. It will be held in French at the CQFA Training Center in Dorval, and free of charge, on 23-24 August, 2010. All coffee breaks and the two lunches are supplied, as well as free access to wifi internet. Parking is free at the Dorval CQFA center. If you need a hotel room, all YUL airport hotels are close by, the Comfort Inn being the closest, 100 meters away.
