| SMS Workshop for Aviation and Aerospace Industry Members - Concluded | | | In conjunction with the Canadian Aviation Maintenance Council, Stantec (formerly Jacques Whitford) delivered twenty Safety Management System (SMS) workshops across Canada, January 7th through March 5th, 2009. The intent of the workshop series was to acknowledge the time and effort required to develop a strong safety culture and to provide industry members with the tools and strategies for implementing an efficient and effective Safety Management System. Facilitators David Wilson and François Thériault presented information to 408 Aviation and Aerospace industry members interested in learning the benefits and implementation concepts common to all Safety Management Systems.
